8 Reasons You Should Consider a Rewarding Career in Childcare

Have you ever thought about a career that lets you make a real difference in the lives of others? Working with children is so much more than a job. It offers the unique opportunity to play a vital role in a child’s learning and development during their most formative years. It’s your opportunity to help nurture young minds, inspire creativity, and be a part of something truly special.

Here are 8 reasons why you might love working in the Childcare and Early Years sector. Get in touch with Bumbles Day Care to see if we could be the right fit for you:

  1. Make a Lasting Impact:  The early years are crucial for a child’s social, emotional, and cognitive development. At Bumbles, we call our team Practitioners to reflect the importance of the role you would hold as a Childcare professional. You’ll get to directly contribute to children’s development by providing a safe and stimulating environment where children can learn and grow. Whether it’s potty training or mastering the alphabet, you’ll witness these important milestones firsthand.

  1. Variety Every Day:  No two days are ever the same when you’re working with children!  There’s a constant sense of fun and creativity as you plan engaging activities,  sing songs, read stories, and help them explore the world around them. There is plenty of routine too, to keep everyone on track. For example, snacks, nappy changing (depending on the age group you work with) and lunches etc.

  1. Full-filling and rewarding career choice: Working in childcare is a full-filing role that gives you the chance to make a positive impact on the future. It’s a career filled with laughter, learning, and the highly satisfying joy of watching children blossom and grow. The rewards are endless. You have the potential to make deep, meaningful relationships with the children and families you serve and the colleagues you work with. These relationships can be a source of great support, encouragement and inspiration throughout your career path.

  1. Work / life balance: At Bumbles, you would be scheduled to work during the hours of 7:45am and 6pm from Monday to Friday. No evenings, no weekends and no taking work home! We have a variety of hours available too, to suit different work patterns.

  1. The Power of Play:  Play is not just a fun activity for children; it’s essential for their development.  Childcare professionals understand the power of play and use it to teach important skills such as problem-solving, communication, and collaboration. You have the opportunity to shape a child’s early learning experiences in a safe and fun environment at Bumbles.

  1. Building Relationships:  Your role goes beyond just caring for children. You’ll also build strong relationships with parents and guardians, keeping them informed about their child’s progress and working together to ensure their needs are met.

  1. Be Part of a Team:  Early childhood settings are collaborative environments. You’ll work alongside other childcare professionals, sharing ideas and supporting each other to create the best possible experience for the children in your care.

  1. Financially Rewarding: At Bumbles, we value the work our team collaboratively do, the responsibility they hold and the excellent care they provide every day for our families and children. And so, we offer a great salary to all Practitioners with a real emphasis on progression to allow you to earn more and reach your full potential!
