Bumbles hosts first in-house CPD Accredited Safeguarding and Child Protection Training
We have some exciting Training based news to share at Bumbles! This month, we reached a significant training milestone by successfully hosting our very first in-house, CPD accredited training: Bumbles Level 2 Safeguarding and Child Protection for Children and Young People in Northern Ireland.
This achievement is a testament to our ongoing commitment to providing the highest standards of care and protection for all of the children at Bumbles. Understanding and implementing robust safeguarding practices is paramount at Bumbles, and we are incredibly proud to now be able to deliver this crucial training ourselves.
A huge congratulations and thanks is due to our wonderful Settings Manager, Seanna, who over the past few months has been diligently completing the necessary CPD accredited work to enable Bumbles Day Care to host and present this mandatory safeguarding training to our entire team.
Seanna’s extensive teaching experience and background knowledge meant that she could lead the session held at our central South Belfast location, Bumbles by the Park. The course was not only informative but also highly engaging. Seanna incorporated practical activities and facilitated continuous discussion, encouraging our team to actively think through various safeguarding scenarios involving children. This interactive approach ensured that the learning was deeply embedded and relevant to our daily practice at Bumbles.
And it wouldn’t be a Bumbles event without a decadent display of scrumptious treats and lunch to keep the group fueled throughout the day.
