Welcome to Bumbles in the Park!
Earlier this month, we hosted our yearly Open Morning at Bumbles in the Park. Situated right beside the play park in Ormeau Park, members of Bumbles Senior Team welcomed upcoming Nursery School children and their families to explore their new setting ahead of the summer transition and before starting Nursery school in September.
Through their usual warmth and professionalism, Melissa and Sigourney who primarily work across our Park Road settings, organised and ensured a successful open morning on Sunday 1st June from 10:30am to 12pm. This provided a fantastic opportunity for everyone to truly get a feel for our vibrant and nurturing environment. Families saw firsthand the thoughtful layout of our BITP space, designed to encourage play, learning, and discovery….and meet resident Tortoise Matilda!
Bumbles open days are incredibly important to us, as they provide an invaluable chance for parents to:
- Meet some of our Dedicated Team: Sigourney and Melissa (who have both been with us 10 years in 2025!) were on hand to chat, answer questions, and introduce themselves. Building strong relationships between our team and families is at the heart of everything we do.
- Explore Our Nursery school wraparound Setting: For many, this was their first glimpse of our beautiful nursery school wraparound facilities we have in South Belfast. We believe a comfortable and stimulating environment is crucial for a smooth transition from nursery to wraparound care.
- Ask Any Questions: From daily routines to collections (this year we are collecting from Rosetta, Bethlehem and Knockbreda) and settling in times, parents had the opportunity to speak with our team in person, ensuring peace of mind ahead of summer and September.
We can’t wait to welcome your children to Bumbles in the Park this September and embark on an exciting new chapter of learning and growth together!
