What an incredible weekend to have had two Bumbles teams take part in the Belfast City Marathon Relay. On Sunday, some of our team, our parents, friends of Bumbles, the Maxwell family and our maintenance hero Rich all made up 2 fantastic teams for the Relay. Thank you – Sigourney, Jodi, Ryan, Cameron, Paul, Sarah, Lily, Cerys, Matthew and Rich for representing Bumbles. From the very first step to the final stretch, the atmosphere was full of energy, determination, and team spirit.
We are absolutely delighted to share that, together, we raised over £1800 for Action Cancer. This is a cause close to many hearts, and we couldn’t have achieved this without the kindness and generosity of our wonderful Bumbles community. Click here to see our Donation page.
Although it was a little chillier on Sunday and overcast, Patsy welcomed everyone to Bumbles in the Park and we celebrated with some tasty drinks provided by Phin Coffee, Patsy’s famous fifteens and our very own Manager Kelly-Marie baked up some amazing cupcakes and treats personalised with the Bumbles and Action Cancer logo. Thank you to our team and families who came to Bumbles in the Park, donated or supported our runners along the way! It was the perfect way to round off such a meaningful and memorable experience.
