Inappropriate use of social networking sites

Social media websites are being used increasingly to fuel campaigns and complaints against educational and care establishments, staff, and in some cases, other parents/pupils. Bumbles Day Care Ltd considers the use of social media websites being used in this way as unacceptable and not in the best interests of the children or the whole community.

In serious cases we will consider legal options to deal with any such misuse of social networking and other sites.

Consequence

Bumbles Day Care’s grounds and premises are private property of which parents / carers have been granted permission from Bumbles to be on.

However, in case of abuse or threats to staff, pupils or other parents, Bumbles Day Care reserves the right to remove these permissions with immediate effect.

Right to Appeal

Any parent, guardian or registered collector who is asked to leave a Bumbles setting will have the right to appeal the decision by writing to the Directors of Bumbles Day Care Ltd.

Raising a complaint or concern

Any concerns you may have must be made through the appropriate channels detailed in our Complaints policy. These can be dealt with fairly, appropriately and effectively for all concerned.
