  • The children have started climbing the trees in the Pod3 garden – this is as a result of their own curiousity and from watching the older children climb trees
  • There is a risk of falling – resulting in an injury which could be a sprain or broken bone
  • Skin scrapes from branches
  • Whenever the children are Climbing the trees an adult must be supervising at all times especially given the age group of the children using this garden (3-4)
  • Support should be offered when needed.
  • Fantastic for the children’s physical and gross motor skills
  • The children will have a sense of achievement which in turn promotes self confidence and self esteem
  • A great way for the children to challenge themselves
